Privacy Policy

All your core financial data is stored locally on your Apple device using Apple SwiftData and a secure local App Group container (used solely to power iOS Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets). This includes:

• Manual asset names, categories, and account balances
• Optional private notes assigned to your accounts
• Stock tickers, share quantities, average cost bases, and currencies
• Financial goals (target amounts and target years)
• Weekly net-worth snapshots and historical change calculations
• Cached dividend payout histories and tax rate settings (0%, 10%, 15%, 30%)
• Your local preferences (language, currency, biometric lock)
• The latest 50 MooNim AI chat messages, stored solely on your device

MooNim is an opt-in AI financial chat assistant. Before using MooNim, users are prompted with an explicit data-sharing disclosure:

• Zero Chat Logging: When you send a query, a temporary portfolio snapshot is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS to our AI processing worker. The worker is engineered specifically not to store or log your chat conversation or portfolio data to persistent storage.
• Private Notes Excluded: Your confidential notes on accounts are strictly filtered out and never transmitted to the AI backend.
• Pseudonymous Free-Tier Tracking: To enforce the 3 daily prompt limit on the Free tier, a randomized, pseudonymous installation ID is stored temporarily in Cloudflare KV storage.

MuMu fetches stock prices, foreign exchange (FX) rates, and historical dividend distributions from Yahoo Finance approximately every 12 hours (with manual refresh). No user personal identifiers or balances are shared with Yahoo Finance during these public market price requests.

• Face ID / Touch ID / Device Passcode: You can enable biometric authentication to lock access to MuMu.
• Privacy Mode: Mask all account balances on-screen with one tap (e.g. ••••••) for safe public usage.
• Hide Balances on Launch: Option to keep numbers hidden every time the app opens.
